Junior–Intermediate Designer

We’re looking for a Junior-Mid Graphic Designer to join our team on a 3-month contract. This is a great opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented designer looking to gain agency experience and contribute to a variety of web, branding, and print projects, working under a team of phenomenal award-winning creatives.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the creation of visual assets across web, print, and social platforms
  • Work under the guidance and mentorship of Senior Designers, executing layout, production, and presentation design for a range of clients and categories
  • Prepare and package files for production and delivery
  • Help maintain brand consistency across client and internal materials
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and design reviews

What you bring:

  • 0–3 years of design experience (internships or freelance count!)
  • Working knowledge of Figma. Any experience in Webflow and Readymag is a bonus.
  • Solid proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Mainly InDesign & Illustrator, but After Effects is a bonus)
  • A strong eye for layout, typography, and detail in web/UI contexts, as well as print
  • The ability to understand a concept and extrapolate it across new applications.
  • Curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to learn
  • A portfolio that shows versatility, creative thinking, and a unique perspective

Bonus if you have:

  • Motion design skills
  • Experience working in an agency environment

Details:

  • 3 month full-time (40hr/week) contract with potential to extend, but not promised
  • From July 2nd (some flexibility, if necessary)

This role is M-F in person at our Calgary office.
